Always a great Halloween spot

Another year, another visit to Xtreme Scream Park! I've been coming for a few Halloweens now, always get the multi-maze pass. This year was just as good as the last; the quality of the mazes stays consistent, which is why I keep coming back. Booking was simple, same as always. They really know how to put on a show and keep things fresh enough to make it worth the trip every time.

Decent value, small queue issues

We bought our scare maze entry tickets about a month in advance. The process online was fine. When we got there, entry was pretty smooth, but some of the maze queues got quite long later in the evening, maybe a fast track pass would have been better for those times. The mazes themselves were decent, good effort put into the sets and actors, definitely some jump scares. Food at the themed stalls was okay, a bit pricey as expected. Overall, a solid evening of entertainment, though they could maybe improve crowd flow around the most popular mazes.

Smooth booking, good scares

I purchased two extreme scream park tickets for a Saturday in October. The website was pretty straightforward, easy to select dates and complete the purchase. Confirmation came through instantly. We arrived around opening time and entry was quick, no major queues. The mazes themselves were well-designed; we particularly liked the one with the clowns, it had some good jump scares. Navigating between mazes was easy enough. We also grabbed some themed food from a stall, which was typical park fare but filled a gap. Overall, a solid experience, especially if you like scare attractions.

Fun evening out

Decided to try Xtreme Scream Park this year with some friends. We got the evening entertainment pass. It was a really fun night! The scare mazes were definitely spooky, got a few good screams out of me. The street theater stuff was cool too, kept us entertained between mazes. It was a bit busy but not too bad. Felt like a good value for a night out.

Totally amazing time

I got the multi-maze pass and it was incredible! Each horror maze was so well done, seriously scary but in the best way. The live entertainment was fantastic too. I had such a blast, will definitely be coming back next year! Recommend it to all my friends!

how long does it actually take to get through all the mazes? trying to plan my evening and don't wanna miss anything.

L Laura 1 week ago
Depends on the crowd, honestly. If it's a super busy Saturday, expect queues. I'd budget at least 3-4 hours to comfortably do all the mazes and maybe grab a drink.

Hmm, good question. With all the mazes plus queueing, I'd say give yourself a solid 4-5 hours, especially if you want to catch any of the live shows or street theatre stuff. Fast track helps a lot if you're on a tight schedule.

Anyone know if you can use like a Blue Light card for a discount here? Or is it just early bird stuff?

C Colin Hughes 4 weeks ago
I'm almost positive they do NHS and Blue Light discounts. I saw it mentioned somewhere last year when I was looking at tickets. Don't think it's always advertised super loudly but it's usually there.

Yeah, they do! I used my Blue Light card last year. You usually just need to show it when you pick up your tickets or sometimes there's a specific code for online booking through their newsletter. Worth checking their site or signing up for emails.

Thinking of going with a big group, like 20 of us. Do they do group discounts if we all buy tickets together?

G Greg 1 month ago
Yeah, pretty sure they do group rates. My mates went last year, like 15 of them, and got a decent chunk off per ticket. Worth checking their site, I reckon.

Yep, they definitely have group discounts for larger numbers. I think it kicks in for 15+ people, and the more you have, the better the deal gets. It's usually applied automatically when you select enough tickets.

Is it worth upgrading to the fast track pass? Like, does it save you a lot of time or is it just a bit quicker?

C Cleo 1 week ago
Totally worth it on a busy night. Went last Halloween and the regular queues were insane. Fast track saved us hours, no joke. We got to do everything twice!

It's a lifesaver if you're going during peak times, like a weekend closer to Halloween. If you go on a less busy weekday early in the season, you might not need it as much, but if you want to guarantee seeing everything without massive waits, then yeah, go for it.

Thinking of going with some friends who are a bit squiffy about intense stuff. How does it compare to Alton Towers Scarefest? Is it way scarier?

A Anna R. 1 month ago
Xtreme Scream Park is definitely more intense than Scarefest. Alton Towers feels a bit more 'theme park scary' while XSP is designed to be genuinely terrifying, with a lot more actor interaction and darker themes. Maybe try watching some walkthroughs on YouTube first?

Oh, XSP is a different beast entirely. Scarefest is fun but pretty tame. Xtreme Scream Park is much more immersive and in-your-face, the actors can get really close. It's properly scary, like 'jump out of your skin' scary. If your friends are easily scared, they might find it a bit much compared to Alton Towers.
